Our beautiful cliff top cabin is tucked away on the wonderful South West Coast Path, it is perfect for a romantic retreat or just to get away from it all. Meander through the country lane heading toward the sea there you will find Kittiwakes, nestled within the owners garden and set within its own small garden with uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean. A short walk through our fields and you will have nearly your own private beach cove to enjoy a spot of surfing or just to relax and take in the amazing view.
Kittiwakes is a light open planned cabin with coastal inspired décor, white washed oak floor boards, large glass French doors and full length windows making the most of those incredible views. On entering the cabin you have a locally hand make table and chairs to enjoy feasting at while looking out at the sea and watching the odd boat sail past. There is a well equipped white shaker style kitchen with port hole windows looking out at the cliff top ruin. The sunny living room has a gorgeous vintage leather sofa and huge leather footstool perfect to put your feet up and snuggle while watching the sun go down or open the old luggage case for and evening of cards and board games by the wood burner effect stove and lit by the fairy lights for that perfect evening in.
After hard day relaxing or exploring climb into the large comfy king size bed, close the voile curtains and stare up at the stars through the roof light, crisp white linen, throws and cushions make you feel totally cocooned in your own little world. The bathroom is simple and fresh, bath and shower with large fluffy towels, and dressing gowns.
Outside your cabin is a small deck along with a table and chairs to enjoy those views again, perfect for that morning coffee or that evening glass of something, please just ask for the BBQ (don’t forget your charcoal!).
Kittiwakes is equipped with a 32″ flat screen tv, DVD player, iron, hairdryer, radio, IPod doc, hairdryer, microwave, radio/alarm clock, Wi-Fi, binoculars, maps, books, magazines and games. We have a few DVD’s which you are welcome to borrow just have a look at the list.
